    Beginner & Those Keen To Re-Establish A Balanced Powerhouse
    This is where we begin, & the place to revisit when wanting to re-establish a balanced & highly effective Powerhouse. Here we find the alignment of the frame, the connectedness to our mat, & establish the differing elements of our Powerhouse to maintain the alignment of our frame as we move. We build strength around the elongated frame drawing from the genius of the basic classical mat exercises as detailed below:

    As we journey through these classes, we will become increasingly aware of areas that are compromising our movement, & so use the genius of this Work to bring about balance, strength & length.

  • BASIC INTO INTERMEDIATE CLASSICAL PILATES MAT CLASS: 6pm (UK) Tuesdays (55 mins)

    Basic Level But Ready To Deepen The Work Of The Powerhouse
    Ideal for those working well with the Basic Classical Mat Class & having built their Powerhouse, are now ready to progress to rotation & extension of the spine within the Classical Work.
    The choreography of the exercises becomes a little more challenging, so that all important mind body connection is essential to ensure the Work remains effective. We draw from:

    Our focus is to deepen the work of the Powerhouse moving the spine through effective Flexion, Extension & Rotation.

  • INTERMEDIATE INTO ADVANCED CLASSICAL PILATES MAT CLASS: 6pm (UK) Wednesdays (55 mins)

    Intermediate/Advanced
    Available to those who are working well with my Intermediate Classical Mat Class, and are ready to challenge the Powerhouse, progressing to inversions, and work with a more complex choreography.
    We draw from a balanced selection of the complete Classical Mat Repertoire including:

    Hundred . Roll Up . Roll Over . One Leg Circle . Rolling Back . Series of Five . Spine Stretch . Rocker . Corkscrew . Saw . Swan Dive . One Leg Kick . Double Leg Kick . Neck Pull .
